Saudi Arabia's Electronic Cheque Clearing System is SAMA's image-exchange infrastructure defined in its 2025 operating rules. The design replaces physical cheque exchange with electronic clearing and sends net obligations through Watheeq to SARIE, linking cheque flows with settlement.
